New Rescue Projects at Mother's Grace Animal Sanctuary

We are getting unadoptable cats from “no kill shelters." Some of these cats were born at the shelter and have never even seen light of day. Some came as very young kittens and have been in the shelter up to 10 years. It is a thrill beyond thrills to see them be outside the first time ever, to see them walk on grass, look at a tree, and bath in the sunlight. Most of these cats come with chronic health issues and require more specialized care.

Without your help, none of this could be possible. This is why we are asking for your help in raising the funds to support our program. Everything is possible with the help from our community!

Here is the story of our newest five girls

       MUFFIN                                                                                                                      TAFFY

                                                                           PATTI

MUFFIN came out of her kennel in our transition area almost immediately and began to explore. She still returns to her original kennel every once in a while but generally moves between cat cottage and outside.

PATTI was cautious in coming out of her kennel so it took a few days but within a week she was running and jumping within the room. Next thing she was out in the cat cottage running and jumping. Within a couple of weeks she was and is running all over the grounds and even enjoying the rain.

TAFFY went up above the kennels initially and stayed mostly among the storage tubs and carriers.  But after a couple of weeks she moved out into cat cottage some and recently has moved outside as well.  She likes to growl at everyone but that is all show.

SLIPPER was very shy and wanted to stay in her kennel for a while but her skin cleared up immediately so we knew her stress level was down.  After a couple of weeks we moved her to a bottom kennel and opened the door so she could step out any time even with her neuro health issue.  The other cats visited her. She has now moved to the sunroom and an apartment of her choosing but just the other day I saw her walking outside exploring.  Her coat is beautiful and her neuro issue is improving with exercising.

KIKI was the most timid and the last to venture out of her kennel. Initially she would run back to the kennel and hide frequently. But in the last couple of weeks she moved into the bedroom of the cat cottage and now moves about the cottage and occasionally outside although she will not let us touch her.

These girls are so happy and are giving a new life

because you are making this possible!
